This week is nuts. I have something I’m supposed to do every single night, and two nights are hosting dinner at my house. I’ve been a little nuts and anxious and stressed. I always get that way when hosting people until they get there, then I love it.
To me, the best part of having a house is to fill it with your friends and family, the people you love the most and have all the joy, love, happiness, and laughter there possible. I feel like our home is doing it’s “job” when we have our favorites over to spend time with us. :)
I’ve been working on figuring out my table set up so that it’s pretty all the time, and it’s been a struggle. Between changing seasons, the price barrier of Pottery Barn everything that I want, and my indecision, I’m sure Jake is abouuuut ready to kill me if he hears anything else about it.
I finally FINALLY figured out what I was going for, and managed to get it all put together before two couples came over last night. Thank the Lord that Casey cooked dinner and delivered it, like the AH-MAAAZING friend she is… and it was darned delicious too. :)
