Good Wednesday morning! It sure is awesome when we don’t work Mondays! :) :)
Today is Day 2 of Blogtember… and the prompt is: If you could take three months off from your current life and do anything in the world what would you do?
I would pack a backpack for my husband and I, drop the puppy off at my dads, and hop a flight to Europe. We would spend three months seeing EVERY country we could around Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Antarctica. We would take the train as much as possible to see every inch of the countries, and eat only the local cuisine. I would take only a camera (with endless memory cards), no technology, and I would use a paper map.
We would swim in all the oceans, touch all the mountains, and star gaze in all the fields. We would really SEE the countries, and not just the touristy parts. I want to know what the world has to offer, and I want to get lost in it. There’s no need to know where you’re going next, or where you just left. I want to live solely in the moment.
I would live entirely outside my comfort zone, and push myself to try everything. No nose wrinkling because it sounds icky. We would laugh longer, feel deeper, and smile sweeter knowing that the world was our oyster and we were LIVING.
We would write letters home, not emails. I would cage dive with great whites off South Africa, and we would dive the Great Barrier Reef, ride camels in Egypt, and see elephants.
What would you do with three months? Comment with your blog link if you’re following Blogtember so I can see your responses as well!
