I’ve been wanting to do a ‘Monthly Goals’ list for quite awhile now, but I haven’t been able to motivate myself to do anything, let along set goals. *dramatic sigh* Here goes though, for success in September.
SIDE BAR: September is my birth month. Which means, it’s all about me. All day, every day. Except not really because J couldn’t handle me if that was the case. :/ A girl can dream, right?

Work Out 5x Week
I used to workout often, like 5x a week, and I’ve been slacking. I feel like jello, and if you haven’t ever felt like that you’re lucky. It’s terrible. Only exercise and a cleaned up diet are going to fix it, and I know that, so here goes!
Pack a Healthy Lunch 4x Week
I have gotten in a really bad habit of just ordering out every day. It’s expensive and eating through my spending money, but it’s also not near as healthy. I always had the late afternoon dips, and had started my soda habit back up… bad news bears.
Listen to Audio Books To/From Work
My road rage which I’ve written about here has pretty much put a choke hold on my days. I spend so an hour and a half in the car daily, and I need to take back that time for me. I’m going to try and get our book club books on audio book so that I can stay caught up. I’m trying to more effectively use my time.
Lose 5 lbs
I firmly believe that if I am exercising, eating right, and not overindulging I will be able to achieve this goal. Lets make it happen, September!
I was doing yoga twice a week, and I felt so great. I want to start practicing at home so that I can get better, but also find a great way to unwind after work before J gets home. This also helps me stay injury free while I’m running.

ACTUALLY TRAIN FOR THE HALF MARATHON
Yes, that required all caps. It’s in 7 weeks, and I haven’t trained at all. The buck stops here. I need each and every one of you to tweet/text/insta/email me and make sure I’m running on my schedule. This is a major goal that I want to achieve and I need to prepare so I don’t kill myself the day of. I CAN DO THIS… and I will.
